Placing a logo or a photo image on your promotional items is not such a trivial task as it might seem at first. Imprinting is easy for big products like imprinted holiday gifts or mugs, but when it comes to tiny objects like photo name tags or custom pens you do need some special equipment.

First of all you need a fixing mechanism in your imprinting apparatus to fix and rotate the item when applying a sublimation heat transfer image acquired from your photo or a digital logotype. If the shape of the pen is cylindrical or polygon, polymeric coating that is substantive to a sublimable dye should be provided.

Secondly, you need an instant drying mechanism in your imprinting apparatus that will evaporate all dye fumes before they spoil the image texture. This is done when you want to ensure that sharp and bright colours of your logo will not be damaged

The second photo imprinting task shall be performed immediately after the first one. Therefore, the process of imprinting pens comprises these several steps with the relation of one or more of such steps to each of the others, specifically in time.

Good luck with placing your photo image on a customized pen!
