Digital Picture Frame - elegant solution for your photos
How many of you have family photos on their desks? I suppose most of you. I’m the same - 4 of my favourite family framed photos.
Few days ago moved to a new office but with a smaller desk
and when I put my laptop on the desk plus two additional screens and the rest of the things I need for my work … my desk was almost full. I only managed to find a place for two of my picture frames but I wanted all four
I thought - “There is no way to put all of them on the desk, but I didn’t want to look for another place …” Fortunately my devoted office assistant, lady at age of 52 asked if she can help with arranging my stuff. I said: “I have to gave up, can’t find place for all photos”.
She then suggested “Why don’t you just buy one of those Digital Picture Frames, you’ll have all 4 photos in one frame - it simply rotates them and you can change them with others when you want, my grandson bought one of this things and he’s very pleased! Instead of trying to find a place where to put all four picture frames you will need a place just for one!”.
Well… that was a really good idea. I thought it will be easy to choose a Digital Picture Frame and order one but I never knew there are so many different types of Digital Picture Frames … Making deep research - something that is typical for me I found out that there are hundreds, maybe even thousands brands and designs Digital Picture Frames. Kodak (I would be surprised if Kodak haven’t designed Digital Picture Frames
), eStarling, Phillips, Pandigital, Mustek …
Some Digital Picture Frames have Built-in MP3 player with integrated speakers for MP3 playback, others offer Wi-Fi, so you can download or upload your photos. You can add fun transition display effects and sound clips or select the time between image changes. Some are even with Security-lock-ready capability - you can keep the Digital Picture Frame secure in your office.
You may choose between many different sizes - 8″, 10″, 7″, 6.5″, 10.4″ and aspect ratio (4:3, 16:9).
To be honest I spent 3 hours on visiting different websites and reading dozens reviews. I finally “landed” in Gadgets website that offers a lot of useful information, including helpfull forum: http://www.coolest-gadgets.com . They have also got Digital Picture Frame comparison: http://www.coolest-gadgets.com/./digital-picture-comparison/
which is very useful if you are not sure making your decision what to buy.
I personaly desided to vote for Kodak (Kodak Easyshare EX-1011 10-Inch Digital Picture Frame with Wireless).
What you will choose is also a question of budget and personal preferences.
I always would prefer popular brands even if their products are a bit more expensive but for a higher price I expect better quality, service and guarantee. With such a variety on the market you will definitelly find what Digital Picture Frame is the best for you.
